All we need from you are some basic details a signed letter of authority (permission for us to act on your behalf) and acceptance of our terms and conditions.

We then negotiate the compensation terms with all parties involved, once a compensation has been offered we'll advise you if we think it is sufficient. If not, we'll enter into further negotiations on your behalf. We may even pursue your claim with the Ombudsman.

For our market leading services we charge a very competitive 15% (plus VAT) of the final claim settlement amount.

The hearing of the test case will begin on 18 January 2008 and is likely to take at least a few months to reach a conclusion.

The banks (and one building society) directly involved in this case are Abbey, Barclays, Clydesdale, HSBC, HBOS, Lloyds TSB, Nationwide and Royal Bank of Scotland. They represent about 90% of the retail banking market.
